Personal finance, planned in the open

Personal planning at Wechathost is for households who earn enough to have choices and still feel the month getting away from them. We start with what actually leaves the account, not with a personality quiz. The aim is a year you can describe in one page: what you will spend, what you will set aside, and which goal is allowed to wait.

We look at irregular costs with the same care as the rent or the mortgage. Holidays, repairs, family support, and the quiet subscriptions are usually where a “good income” still feels tight. Once those are visible, the savings rate stops being a slogan and becomes a number you can defend.

If you share money with a partner, we facilitate the conversation instead of handing one person a spreadsheet to explain later. Agreements about windfalls, support for relatives, and the pace of paying down debt are written in ordinary sentences.

What we study

Twelve months of cash movement, debts, buffers, and the two or three goals you are willing to fund now.

What you leave with

A one-page spending plan, a buffer target, and a short list of decisions to make in the next ninety days.

How the work moves

  • Map fixed costs, flexible costs, and the costs that only show up sometimes.
  • Set a cash buffer in weeks of spending, not in a round number that sounds impressive.
  • Rank goals so a raise or a bonus has a job before it arrives.
  • Agree what will be reviewed, and what will be left alone until the review date.

A project ends when the written plan is in your hands and a review date is chosen. We do not stretch the work to fill a retainer you did not ask for.
